  A Guiding Light Through the Fog. I feel very fortunate that a friend referred Mr. Gardner to me. I was looking for legal help with probate of my Mothers estate, and had hired three different lawyers that ended up either taking a retainer and then doing nothing, or resigning soon after with no explanation. Mr. Gardner took the time t ... o really understand my case, and gave me an honest and inciteful recommendation of what would be my best course of action moving forward. With his vast network of contacts, he was able to put me in touch with some top-notch professional people that were the most appropriate to my situation .   Takes a Case, No Follow Thru. I contacted this attorney to assist in a real estate matter and he agreed to take it on, that was in April 2018. I sent the information he needed to follow through and never heard from him again. I have left multiple messages on his business phone and no communication back at all.

  Real Estate Transaction Lawyer. We had recently relocated back to Iowa from Colorado and the seller here in Iowa did not want to use real estate agents for the transaction.
